Brief History
2019-present
At Suzy, I’ve led design and research initiatives that contributed to over 300% growth in ARR. From the outset, I prioritized accessibility—our early adoption of WCAG 2.0 standards became a key differentiator, helping secure multiple $1M+ contracts.
I worked in Figma to scale and maintain a multi-surface design system, ensuring visual and functional consistency across a rapidly evolving product. To validate flows quickly and confidently, I relied on Maze and UserTesting, while remote workshops via Zoom and FigJam helped align our distributed product team around complex decisions.
I also mentored junior designers, particularly around prototyping, synthesis, and systems thinking. My focus throughout was on building patterns that could scale—not just across screens, but across people, tools, and time.
2018 - 2019
Attended General Assembly as one of the final Opportunity Fellows. Studied user research, information architecture, and testing methods. For the capstone, proposed cognitive health features for the Equinox app—an early look at how digital tools shape habit. Built and tested an MVP with a mixed-skill team over two weeks. Used Sketch for prototyping, Maze for usability testing, and Optimal Workshop for card sorts and tree tests. Learned how to work fast, stay curious, and listen closely.

2016-2018
Worked independently across 12+ clients in media, tech, and nonprofit. As a freelance designer and consultant, I took on projects in UX design, content strategy, branding, and video. Learned to scope fast, design lean, and communicate clearly. Balanced creative work with research and systems thinking. This was a transitional period—broad in practice, decisive in outcome. It’s where I chose UX as the path forward.
2013 - 2016
I got my start at Smigin, a language startup that created an offline-friendly app for travelers. As a founding member, I watched the app’s user base grow from 2,000 to over 85,000 across 175 countries, even snagging #1 in Education in 13 countries on iOS. Originally joining as a translator, I soon became Smigin’s sole Product Designer after college, handling the iterative design from MVP onward. Working directly with the founder and learning from mentors at R/GA, I got hands-on with UI and UX design until the company’s close in 2016.
